Both our Varsity and Junior Varsity Boys Basketball teams defeated Lackawanna Trail on Saturday night to improve to 2-2 on their seasons.
The Varsity team won by a score of 68-44. Jay Allen led the team with 21 points, including two three-pointers. Vincent DePalma and Killian Bannon each scored 11 to get into double figures on the night. Darryl Bennett added 9 points while Bryan Salitsky scored 8 in the victory.
The JV team had an even larger margin of victory, outscoring Lackawanna Trail by 31 points in a 44-13 performance. Nick Sopko (13) and Jordan Christopher (10) led the scoring efforts. Isaiah Kilmer and Ethen Brewen each contributed 6 points and 5 points, respectively, while Kyle Zantowsky and Jake Rosler had 4 each.
