CA Cross Country Team Receives Donation from Villa Capri Cruisers Car Club

The Carbondale Area cross country team received a generous $500 donation from the Villa Capri Cruisers Car Club: Cruisin’ for a Cause. Their mission is expressed in their motto: “Make a Child Smile, One at a Time.” They use proceeds from car shows, cruises, and sponsors to raise monies for childhood charities throughout northeastern Pennsylvania. This donation will be used to help purchase new cross country uniforms for next season.

“Coach Czachor and I are so very grateful for the support from our community to keep our cross country program growing,” Coach Gordon said. “We already have our athletes looking through sports uniform catalogs to identify our new design – we’re excited to showcase our new look next year.”

The Carbondale Area School District and its cross country team thanks the Villa Capri Cruisers Car Club for their generosity and support.
