CA students compete at Skills USA

Skills USA is a national student organization that develops employability, participatory and leadership skills to complement the occupational skills developed by students in technical education classrooms or work-based learning sites. SkillsUSA is an integral part of approved technical education occupation programs. In December, students in the Career Technology Program competed at Johnson College & Luzerne County Community College. The Automotive Refinishing and Collision Repair contests were held at Toyota of Scranton.

Four students from Carbondale Area excelled at the competition. Eric Cruz got first place in Firefighting. Marino DePalma got first place in First Aid/CPR. Chris Dietrich and Hunter Ragan got third place in Quiz Bowl.
