On Tuesday October 18, 2022 members of the Unified Sports team attend the 2022 Pennsylvania Special Olympics Youth Forum. This forum brought together students from area unified teams to collaborate and plan whole school engagement activities for the coming year. The theme of this year’s forum was “Superhero”. Student athletes were able to recognize that they hold unique and special powers within their school communities to be leaders in the classroom and the athletic arenas. Freshman Cameron Newhartt enjoyed his experience being with other teams and said, “I am excited to start playing unified sports this year.” Other members of the Unified team who attended were Michael Reilly, Maddie Zaccone, and Matthew Serkosky.
