Charger Scholastic Bowl Team Competes in NEIU Academic Challenge

Seniors Robert Constantine, Madison Kelsch, Brian Repsher, and Chase Arthur participated in the NEIU 19 Academic Challenge on Monday April 17. The team answered questions in various categories such as World and American History, Literature, Pop Culture, and Potpourri. When students were not in the Challenge, they were able to use the NEIU’s state of the art gaming computers and participated in an escape room type challenge.

In game one, the Chargers took on the Western Wayne Wildcats and the Lakeland Chiefs and finished in second place with 45 points. In game two, our team beat Holy Cross but fell to Scranton High. Overall, the Chargers finished with 80 total points for 13th place out of 20 teams.
