Olivia Christian wins TecBridge High School Business Plan Competition


Carbondale Area senior Olivia Christian was the winner of the TecBridge High School Business Plan Competition. Olivia was one of five finalists that was selected. Olivia’s business plan was based on her own business: OC’s Cleaning Service. Olivia completed a business plan and participated in a live presentation round. Olivia won $1,000 for her business and as the winning school Carbondale will also receive $1,000.

“This has been an exciting journey for myself and for my family watching me work hard,” explained Christian. “When I won this competition, I felt all types of emotions, especially joy. I work so hard to achieve big goals and this was definitely worth working hard for. I plan to use this money to grow my business larger than it already is and to succeed with the money I won.”
