Our next Senior Spotlight is Chargers Football captain Liam Misko. Liam is the son of Rob Misko and has one sister, Rory, a 2019 graduate of Carbondale Area. Liam, who wears the #77, has played eight total years of football and four years of varsity, where he started as a freshman. He has played center, guard, and defensive tackle.

Misco (#77) holds up his running back, Vincent DePalma (#18) during a win at Holy Cross earlier this season. Liam has helped paved the way for Vincent to achieve 1000 yards in the season.

Liam attends the Career Technology Center (CTC), where he is in the process of earning a welding certificate. He plans to further his education in this field upon graduation by attending the Kentucky Welding Institute. His goal is to work on the pipeline as a welder.

Liam’s hobbies and interests include football, welding, and hanging out with friends. His favorite CA memory is Friday Night Lights. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Liam on his achievements thus far and wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
