Sophomores Attend Geisinger AIM HI Career Exploration at Wilkes University

 

A group of 10th grade students attended the Geisinger AIM HI Career Exploration event held on March 9 at Wilkes University.  They participated in learning workshops about various healthcare fields such as: Nursing, Life Flight/Trauma Medicine, Hospital Security Services, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, and Physical Therapy/Sports Medicine.  They also attended a leadership panel discussion with Geisinger executive administrators.  The following students attended: Angelica Prieto, Eliana Connolly, Elvira Marrero, Bryanne Lucas, Ciara Martin, Adrienne Titley, Abigail Wall, Hannah McCaffrey, and Hong Tran.

Safe2Say

Safe2Say Something is a youth violence prevention program run by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. The program teaches youth and adults how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, from individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to “say something” BEFORE it is too late.
