Following graduation in 2013, he worked for five years at Turner Construction in various Field Operations roles at their Miami Business Unit. His project portfolio includes Edwards + Sanborn Solar, which is currently the world’s largest combination construction project for solar and battery energy storage – valued at over 900 million dollars. In addition, he was involved in the 1-billion-dollar renovation of the historic Seattle Center Coliseum (now Climate Pledge Arena) and the 1.8-billion-dollar construction of Allegiant Stadium, home to the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders. Lance has also spent time in Seattle, Washington and now lives in Los Angeles, California as a member of the Mortenson Company. The Carbondale Area School District is both proud of Lance and excited to have him as our guest speaker for this year’s commencement speaker.
