Our next Senior Spotlight is Drama Club member Michael “Mikey” Padgett. Michael is the son of Jayne Padgett. He has two brothers: Kevin Sheetz and Gary Kroll and one sister: Aimee Garcia.
Michael has been casted in Fiddler on the Roof as Lazar Wolfe and Into the Woods as Rapunzel’s Prince last school year. He is going to be the Dentist in April’s production of Little Shop of Horrors.
Michael is also a member of the Board Game Club and the Honor Roll. Michael’s favorite subject is Science, with a major interest in Botany (study of plants) and Astronomy. Michael’s favorite CA Memory is the Senior Golf Trip when he received the Rosta Award. He enjoys baking, gardening, acting (voice and regular), and motivational speaking. Michael’s future plans are to run a Botanical Garden and act on the side. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Michael on his achievements thus far and wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
