Our next Senior Spotlight is Charger Soccer Captain Nico Valentino Laguzzi, where he played Striker. Nico is the son of Susan and Kevin Laguzzi. Nico has played soccer for eight years and was selected for the Unico Scranton Soccer Cup, an all-star game for Seniors in Lackawanna County. He is also a member of the Golf team, FBLA, and the Photography Club, where he takes photos at school events for various publications.
Nico has excelled academically in his time here at CAHS as a member of Academic Honors, National Honor Society, and the Distinguished Honor Roll. He is currently completing a Geisinger Radiology Co-Op and plans to attend a university with the ultimate goal of becoming a Surgical Physician’s Assistant.
Nico’s favorite subject is Anatomy, and his favorite CA memory is Soccer Senior Night. He enjoys playing video games, listening to music, and photography. The Carbondale Area School District congratulates Nico on his achievements thus far and wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
